Espírito Santo

Espírito Santo is a compact southeastern state where Atlantic beaches, mountainous coffee country and strong Italian immigrant culture coexist. The state capital Vitória sits on an island surrounded by mangroves, while the inland highlands of the Serra Capixaba produce specialty coffees and host communities where Venetian dialect (Talian) is still spoken.
