Alagoas

Alagoas is a small coastal state with some of Brazil's most stunning beaches, including the crystalline waters of Maragogi — often called the "Brazilian Caribbean." Its capital Maceió sits on a thin strip of land between the Atlantic Ocean and a series of placid freshwater lagoons, giving the city an almost island-like feel.
